Social Media Marketing can be long, hard, and tedious. But I recently discovered exciting information that allowed me to drive over 105 targeted prospects to my business with less than 3 clicks of a button!

1. Social Networking about Socializing not Selling - If you are trying to run a "campaign" on your social media site, you are in for a rude awakening. Social media marketing has pros and cons. The pro is, you have an opportunity to build a connection with your prospects and socialize with them on a regular basis. The con is, this can sometimes take weeks before you actually see a result. Social media marketing most time requires patience.

2. Social Networking happens daily - I don't want you to assume that you're going to make HUGE profits right away with social media, although it's possible. The reason being; social media is a daily process of adding, commenting, direct messaging, and repeating the process. I would say, depending on your consistency you should see results in your sales with in the first 2 days - 1 week.

3. Social Networking is about Connecting - in order to pull 105 targeted prospects to your business in less than 2 hours, like I did, you need to connect with your prospects. Really talk to them. Ask them about their business, the results they are looking for from their business, and what they would like to see more of on the web. Why is this so important? Because these Social Butterflies are your opportunity buyers. It doesn't matter what you think, it matters what they think. And if they aren't thinking about you, then you have a big problem on your hands, but if implement these tactics I've told you, they will appreciate that and want to talk to you more.

4. Social Networking is about the experience - if you've joined sites like Twitter you have an opportunity to experience some of the hottest trends in your niche, as long as you follow the right people, make sure you tell your list about them. In social media, never think about "giving away to much info" the reason being, your network will look at your info and say "wow, if this person is giving away so much for free imagine their e-book or service." Now not only did you get a product buyer, but in most cases you got an opportunity seeker as well. 95% of people who view you in this light will want to join you in your opportunity.

5. Lastly, social networking is about Fun - As Perry Belcher once put it "View social media like a party." These words couldn't hold more true. No one goes to social media sites to buy, they go on eBay or Google to buy. If you want to sell, go to those sites, if you want to build your list and build your following, go to social media sites. I'm sure you know the power of a relationships, don't you? Relationship building is key. You never know who you are meeting. You can be a "newbie" to social media marketing and implement these tactics and be viewed as an expert instantly. You will people who do not know these tactics and help them build their list online for free.
